Agronomist Engineer from the Public University of Navarra (1995), she completed her training with two postgraduate courses: “Remote Sensing Techniques Applied to Rural Areas,” Environmental Studies Center of the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council (1996) and “Environmental Consulting,” Polytechnic Foundation of Catalonia (2000). The first years of her professional career were linked to geographic information systems and their different applications, primarily in hydrological planning. Since 2011, she has worked as an environmental technician at the Environmental Studies Center of the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council (CEA), and from 2014 to 2023 she coordinated the development of the local Sustainable Agri-food Strategy and its Municipal Action Plan (2017-2025). During this time, she had the opportunity to directly engage with the local agri-food ecosystem and discover its main challenges related to sustainability and climate change. Currently, she manages several of the lines of work within this Plan, including the European co-financed CROPS4LIFE project developing coordination tasks.
