Environmental scientist, graduated in 2000. He holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences, specializing in Climate Change and Global Environmental Change. He has worked in the field of sustainability and municipal management, as well as in public administration (Government of Catalonia, departments of Environment and Presidency). He has conducted research at ICTA (Institute of Science and Technology for the Environment at UAB) in the field of cultivated agrobiodiversity. He was a member of the Board of the Network for Land Custody in Catalonia and of the local varieties Commission of the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries of the Government of Catalonia.
He has published several scientific articles, some of which are in internationally recognized journals. He has collaborated in various publications, journals, and is the author or co-author of several books on natural and cultural heritage.
Since 2003, he has been managing a horticultural farm with local varieties.
